🛠️General Settings
Learn how to access and adjust general settings in Orbit, including toggling fullscreen mode and adjusting the HUD scale to customize your user interface experience.
Access General Settings:
Open the Menu: Select the menu button, represented by three horizontal lines (☰), located in the top right corner of the interface. This will open the main menu.
Select Settings: From the menu, choose the settings option, indicated by the cog icon. This will open the General Settings.
Toggling Fullscreen Mode:
Enable Fullscreen: In the General Settings, find the fullscreen option and toggle it on to enter fullscreen mode. This will expand the application to fill your entire screen, providing an immersive experience.
Disable Fullscreen: To exit fullscreen mode, toggle the fullscreen option off. This will return the application to windowed mode.
Note: Fullscreen mode is not available on iOS devices. For a similar experience, we recommend adding Orbit to your Home Screen - Install as an App.
Adjusting HUD Scale:
Increase HUD Scale: In the General Settings, find the HUD scale option. Use the slider to increase the size of the HUD elements, making them larger and easier to read.
Decrease HUD Scale: To make the HUD elements smaller, adjust the slider to decrease the HUD scale. This can free up screen space and provide a more compact interface.
Benefits of General Settings:
Immersive Experience: Toggle fullscreen mode to enhance your immersion in the virtual environment.
Customizable Interface: Adjust the HUD scale to make interface elements larger or smaller based on your preference and needs.
Improved Accessibility: Increasing the HUD scale can make text and icons easier to read for better accessibility.
Efficient Screen Use: Decreasing the HUD scale can provide more screen space for the virtual environment, enhancing your overall experience.
